Saturday Interest Programs
The Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) offers International Languages (IL) Elementary Programs Saturday
mornings in Kanata and various other locations in Ottawa. Registration is free for Ontario students (only $10 consumable fees). Chinese
Mandarin program is one of the most popular programs at two sites in Kanata. As part of the school board's effort to enhance the IL
program, Interest Programs are offered by KC Afterschool immediately after the morning IL classes at the two Kanata sites. It provides
children opportunities to explore their other talents. Most of the Interest Programs are instructed in Chinese to further enhance
the students' language skills. We also offer interest programs for parents when their children attend classes.
